10 Wati alternatives with prices in 2026

Wati is one of the best known tools for the WhatsApp Business API: a shared inbox, broadcasts and chatbots on one number. People look for an alternative for three reasons, usually: the price of the plan they actually need, the AI agent sold as an extra, or a feature that only comes in a bigger plan.

So first, what Wati costs, from its own pricing page on 11 September 2026. Growth is $49 a month for visitors from Nigeria, Kenya and the Philippines, and ₹2,999 a month for visitors from India, with 3 users. The plan cards list chatbots from Pro, at $99 or ₹6,499 a month. The Astra AI agent is an add-on "priced separately", and its price is not on the page. Below are ten alternatives, cheapest first, with the same kind of source for every price.

What is a good alternative to Wati for a small business?

Who wrote this list. CertuAI wrote it, and CertuAI is on it, at number 5. The order comes from the rule explained under "How we checked", not from a judge outside the company. Every other price comes from that company's own pricing page, with the address and the date we checked it right next to it. Check them and decide for yourself.

The 10 options, one by one

  1. 1. Periskope

Starter $25 per user a month, Pro $35 per user a month, each including 1 user, and the first connected phone is free. Enterprise is custom, with a minimum of 50 users or phones. The page mentions billing in US dollars, Indian rupees and Brazilian reais.

    What it is
A tool to manage many WhatsApp chats, groups and numbers from one screen, with APIs and webhooks. Its page says it works without the WhatsApp Business API.
    Who it is for
A team that runs a lot of WhatsApp groups and wants them organised, without applying for the Business API.
    What to watch
It is not an official Business API provider, which is a different thing from what Wati sells. The price is per person, so a team of five pays five times.

Price published at https://www.periskope.app/pricing, checked on 2026-09-11.

  2. 2. AiSensy

Outside India: Basic $45 a month, Pro $99. In India, on aisensy.com/pricing: Basic ₹1,500 a month, Pro ₹3,200, with 1 owner and 5 agents included on Basic and ₹750 a month for each extra agent. Chatbot and AI agent builders are add-ons on top: the AI agent is $50 or ₹1,350 a month with 1,000 AI messages.

    What it is
An Indian WhatsApp Business API tool for broadcasts, a shared inbox and chatbots, with an AI agent builder as an add-on.
    Who it is for
A business in India that mainly sends broadcasts and wants a low monthly fee.
    What to watch
The entry price does not include a chatbot or AI agent. Both are extra, so the real price for automatic replies is higher than the headline.

Price published at https://aisensy.com/pricing/usd, checked on 2026-09-11.

  3. 3. Zoko

Starter $49.99 a month with as many agents as you like and a markup of $0.015 per conversation. Plus $79.99 a month with 5,000 conversations and no markup, Elite $139.99. Each AI agent is an add-on at $24.99 a month plus a fee per result. 7-day free trial.

    What it is
A WhatsApp tool built for online stores, with a shared inbox, campaigns, a store widget and AI agents sold one by one.
    Who it is for
A Shopify-style online store that wants campaigns and order questions on WhatsApp.
    What to watch
Starter adds a markup to every conversation, and each AI agent is a separate monthly fee plus usage.

Price published at https://www.zoko.io/pricing, checked on 2026-09-11.

  4. 4. Interakt

On the page for visitors outside India: Growth $55 a month and Advanced $69 a month, plus taxes, with unlimited agents. Save 8% paying quarterly and 20% yearly. WhatsApp AI Agents add-on $74.99 a month with 100 AI messages, then $0.011 each.

    What it is
A WhatsApp tool from Jio Haptik with campaigns, a shared inbox, a basic chatbot and a sales CRM. Its site lists pages for India, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil, the UAE, the Philippines and Africa.
    Who it is for
A team that wants unlimited agent logins without paying per person.
    What to watch
Growth only has a basic, straight-line chatbot; branching flows start at Advanced. Visitors from India see a different page we could not open.

Price published at https://www.interakt.shop/pricing-us/, checked on 2026-09-11.

  5. 5. CertuAI

Start $75 a month: the AI agent on one WhatsApp number connected by scanning a QR code (like WhatsApp Web), up to 800 AI replies a month, with the CRM included. Pro $120 a month: the official WhatsApp Business API from Meta, up to 2,500 AI replies, a landing page and room for 5 people on the team (Start has 3). Monthly plans start with a 7-day trial on a card. The annual plan costs 10 months and has no trial.

    What it is
An AI agent that answers your customers on WhatsApp by itself, day and night. You tell it about your business in a chat (prices, hours, what you sell, what it must never promise) and it answers from that. There is no chatbot flow to draw. Every chat also becomes a contact in the built-in CRM.
    Who it is for
Someone leaving Wati because they want an AI agent that answers by itself, without building chatbot flows or buying an add-on.
    What to watch
On Start your number connects by QR code, not through Meta's official Business API; the official API starts at Pro ($120). Start covers up to 800 AI replies a month; a busy shop needs Pro. Prices are in US dollars only, paid by card, so check that your card allows dollar payments. Phone answering is not part of the English plans. It is a young product with a small team in Brazil, not a platform with an account manager for big companies. It is not built for big broadcast campaigns the way Wati is.

Price published at https://certu.com.br/en/planos, checked on 2026-09-11.

  6. 6. respond.io

Starter $99 a month with 5 users, or $79 a month paid yearly ($948). Growth $199 a month with 10 users, or $159 a month paid yearly ($1,908). The page says WhatsApp fees are not included in any plan, and AI usage is included on Growth and above.

    What it is
A shared inbox for WhatsApp and other chat apps, built for teams, with workflows, reports and AI agents.
    Who it is for
A support or sales team of five to ten people who need rules for who answers what.
    What to watch
AI agents are not in Starter. Contacts above the plan cost $12 per 100 on Growth.

Price published at https://respond.io/pricing, checked on 2026-09-11.

  7. 7. Gallabox

Basic ₹2,999, $150 or AED 549 a month billed quarterly, or ₹2,399, $112 or AED 412 a month billed yearly, with 3 users and 500 AI credits. Essential ₹6,999, $331 or AED 1,214 a month billed quarterly. There is no month-to-month option.

    What it is
An Indian WhatsApp platform for sales teams, with chatbot flows, AI agents, campaigns and a shared inbox, priced in rupees, dollars and dirhams.
    Who it is for
A sales team in India or the Gulf that wants AI to qualify leads.
    What to watch
Billing is at least quarterly, and the dollar price is much higher than the rupee price for the same plan.

Price published at https://gallabox.com/pricing, checked on 2026-09-11.

  8. 8. Trengo

Boost €349 a month on monthly billing or €299 a month on yearly billing, with 10 users and 500 conversations a month. Pro €599 a month, or €499 on yearly. Extra conversations with an AI surcharge cost €0.30 each on monthly billing.

    What it is
A shared inbox for WhatsApp, email, voice, SMS and other channels, with AI features charged per conversation.
    Who it is for
A team of ten that answers on several channels, not only WhatsApp.
    What to watch
Priced in euros for a team of ten, so it is a big step up for a small shop.

Price published at https://www.trengo.com/pricing, checked on 2026-09-11.

  9. 9. DoubleTick

    Price on request

    What it is
A WhatsApp tool for sales teams with a team inbox, bulk broadcasts and automation.
    Who it is for
A sales team that is happy to book a demo and get a quote.
    What to watch
No price to compare with Wati until you talk to sales.

DoubleTick's pricing page lists Starter, Pro and Enterprise with no price, and sends you to book a demo. On 11 September 2026 the same page said AI agents are "built into every plan" and, in the plan cards, "not available" on Starter and on Pro. Ask them which is true for the plan you are offered.

  10. 10. SleekFlow

    Price on request

    What it is
A platform with a shared inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram and other chats, sold by monthly active contacts.
    Who it is for
A business selling in several countries that wants one inbox for all of them.
    What to watch
You only see your price from your own country, and it grows with monthly active contacts.

SleekFlow's pricing page picks the currency from the country you visit from. When we opened it on 11 September 2026 it showed us prices in Brazilian reais, including on its US and Singapore pages. We do not publish a number converted from another country's price, so open the page from where you are.

How we checked

The rule for the order. Cheapest published starting price first. A price per person is counted for one person. Prices in dollars come first because Wati's own price outside India is in dollars; a price only in another currency (Trengo, in euros) comes after them, because we do not convert. Companies with no price we could check go last.

That rule puts CertuAI fifth, behind Periskope, AiSensy, Zoko and Interakt. Periskope is cheaper but is not a Business API provider, and CertuAI's $75 Start is not either: it connects by QR code, and CertuAI on the official Business API starts at $120 (Pro). AiSensy's $45 does not include a chatbot or AI agent, and on Zoko and Interakt the AI agent is an add-on on top of the plan. If you want the AI agent inside the plan price, CertuAI is the cheapest on this list that does it.

We opened each company's own pricing page on 11 September 2026 and wrote down the price, the address of the page and the date. We did not use prices from review sites, from sales calls or from memory. We did not convert any currency: every price is shown in the currency the company shows it in, and $ always means US dollars.

Some pricing pages change with the country you visit from. Wati's page loads its price list from Wati's own servers by country: it gives rupees for India and US dollars for Nigeria, Kenya and the Philippines, and we show both. Interakt sends visitors from outside India to a separate page in dollars, which is the only one we could open. When a page showed us different numbers depending on how we opened it, the entry says price on request and tells you why, instead of picking one.

Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp, charges separately for messages a business starts, such as marketing messages and reminders sent from a template. The rate depends on the country and on the kind of message. None of the prices on this page include those fees unless the entry says so in the company's own words. Ask each provider how they count and pass them on.

CertuAI's price comes from its plans page, which is the same price the checkout charges. There is no display price that differs from the price you pay.

Prices change. If you are reading this months from now, open the address under each entry before you decide anything.

Other names you will see for this search

Chatfuel is a strong choice if your customers are on Instagram as much as on WhatsApp; it is on our best AI agents list. Kommo is a sales CRM with WhatsApp built in and is on our WhatsApp CRM list.

Tidio and ManyChat come up in this search too. We did not put a price next to them because their pricing pages showed us prices that depend on the country you visit from, and we could not see the price for India, Nigeria, Kenya or the Philippines.

Why people leave Wati

The AI is an extra. On Wati, the Astra AI agent is an add-on priced separately, and the page does not show the price. If an AI that answers by itself is the reason you want a WhatsApp tool, you cannot know the full cost up front.

Chatbots start at Pro. Growth is the entry plan, but the chatbot builder comes with Pro, at $99 or ₹6,499 a month. Many small businesses start on Growth and find the feature they wanted is one plan up.

Users and contacts. Growth includes 3 users. A bigger team moves up a plan or pays for extra users. Check the plan you will need in six months, not today.

Questions to ask any Wati alternative

Is it an official WhatsApp Business API provider, or does it connect through WhatsApp Web? Both exist, and they behave differently.

Is the chatbot or AI agent in the price I am looking at, or is it an add-on? If it is an add-on, what does it cost and how many replies does it include?

Do you add anything on top of what Meta charges for WhatsApp messages? Some tools pass Meta's fees through unchanged; others add a markup per message or per conversation.

Can I move my existing number and my contacts? Ask before you pay, not after.

Questions people ask

Is there a cheaper alternative to Wati?

Yes. Among official WhatsApp Business API tools with a published price, AiSensy starts at $45 a month outside India and ₹1,500 in India, against Wati's $49 and ₹2,999. Periskope is cheaper still at $25 per user, but it does not use the official Business API. CertuAI is $75 with the AI agent included, connected by QR code, and $120 on the official Business API. That is more than Wati's $49, but Wati's AI agent is priced separately.

Which Wati alternative includes an AI agent in the price?

On this list, CertuAI includes the AI agent in the $75 Start plan, with up to 800 AI replies a month. respond.io includes AI usage from its Growth plan at $199 a month ($159 paid yearly). On AiSensy, Zoko, Interakt and Wati itself, the AI agent is an add-on.

How much does Wati cost in India?

On 11 September 2026, Wati's pricing page gave visitors from India Growth at ₹2,999 a month, Pro at ₹6,499 and Business at ₹18,499, or ₹26,388 a year for Growth. Its AI agent, Astra, is an add-on priced separately.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number if I move away from Wati?

Usually yes, but the steps depend on the new provider. Ask the new provider to explain the move before you cancel Wati, so customers can keep writing to the same number.

Do these prices include what WhatsApp charges?

Usually not. Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp, charges separately for messages a business starts, like marketing messages and reminders. The rate depends on the country and on the kind of message. Each entry says what the company itself writes about this. Before you sign, ask the provider how they count those messages and whether they add anything on top.

Is this list paid or sponsored?

No. Nobody paid to be on it, and no link on this page earns CertuAI a commission. CertuAI is on the list because CertuAI wrote the list, and the page says so right under the title.
